My Story
I started scuba diving when I was 8 years old in Cabo Verde. I saw people practicing in a swimming pool and thought it looked cool, so I tried it. I’ve been diving ever since. Funny enough, before that, I was actually terrified of scuba diving. The idea of being underwater with all that gear used to freak me out. It’s crazy how something that once scared me became something I now love more than anything. Over the years, I’ve explored dive sites across 10 different countries and have 80+ dives logged. I’m especially into night dives and wreck dives as they show a different side of the ocean most people never get to see.
The Blue View began after a dive in Réunion where the visibility was insane. It made me realise just how unique and how blue the view is underwater. That’s what I try to capture through my photography. But diving isn’t just about the views. I care about protecting the ocean too. I often collect trash during dives and have joined coral restoration projects to help coral bleaching in the Flic-en-Flac area. My goal is to show people how beautiful the underwater world is and why it needs to be protected.
Coral doesn’t grow back in a lifetime. Protect it now.
